INVESTIGATIVE DECISION MAKING QUESTIONNAIRE

The following questionnaire is part of a larger project, funded by the Leverhulme trust, which is being carried out by the Centre for Critical Incident Research with support by the NCPE BIA’s. This is an independent project, which is not funded or actioned by the NCPE.

The project aims to examine the content of behavioural investigative advice (BIA) and the ways in which such advice is interpreted and used. We would be extremely grateful if you could take the time to answer the following questions, which will take approximately twenty minutes of your time.

The questionnaire is entirely voluntary and relates to a series of sexual assaults against young girls. Should such material cause you discomfort or distress, you are not obliged to take part in this study and you can leave the questionnaire at any time.

All of your answers will remain confidential and anonymous, as we do not ask for your name. If the results of the study are published, then your answers will not be identifiable. We thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this questionnaire.
